Mijn Lief moest naar een symposium. Hij zag het niet echt zitten, maar zijn aanwezigheid werd hem van hogerhand opgelegd.
"Ik snap wel dat zijn aanwezigheid verplicht is", zei mijn oudste zoon op een ja-duhuh-toon.
"Oh?" vroeg ik enigszins afwezig.
"Ja", antwoordde hij. "Iedereen wil toch wel even in papa's aanwezigheid zijn."
